On 8th August 2026, from 12PM to 11PM, the quiet streets around Dorman Way will pulse with anticipation as crowds gather at North Skelton Football Field, TS12 2DW, for the much-anticipated MinersFest 90’s Edition.

The stage lights will flicker on, smoke will rise, and host Andy Williams will step forward, mic in hand, ready to guide North Skelton on a journey back to the golden age of dance music.

“Let’s take it back to the 90s!” he’ll shout — and the bass will answer.

Headline Legends

Leading the charge will be Ian van Dahl, the Belgian Eurodance project that stormed the charts with euphoric anthems like Castles in the Sky. Known for their soaring vocals and trance-driven beats, they remain one of the defining sounds of turn-of-the-century clubland.

Scottish rave pioneers QFX will bring their high-energy hardcore and bounce classics. Emerging from the UK’s underground rave scene, they became festival favourites thanks to their explosive live sets.

Dance music project JX, created by producer Jake Williams, made waves in the 90s with chart hits like Son of a Gun and There’s Nothing I Won’t Do, both staples of club nights across Britain.

Old-school house outfit Oceanic will deliver uplifting piano-house vibes, transporting fans straight back to the heyday of UK dance floors.

Representing the spirit of the North West’s club culture, Manchester Anthems celebrate the legendary Hacienda era and the sound that shaped a generation of ravers.

DJs & Live Talent

MinersFest isn’t just about the legends — it’s about today’s talent keeping the 90s spirit alive:

• Natasha Tee – A commanding DJ known for energetic club sets and strong stage presence across the UK.

• Phil Mackintosh – A respected name on the circuit, blending classic dance with modern production.

• Spuddy – A crowd-pleasing selector who knows exactly how to lift a festival atmosphere.

• Callum Hunter – A rising local talent injecting fresh energy into retro beats.

• Davy Strangeways – Known for his diverse style and seamless transitions.

• Rob Howard – A seasoned performer with years behind the decks.

• Abby Faye Dalton – A powerful live vocalist whose soaring performances add heart and soul to every anthem.

Together, they’ll transform North Skelton into an open-air nightclub beneath the summer sky.

Funfair & Festival Vibes

Beyond the music, MinersFest will offer something for everyone. A colourful Funfair will light up the field with rides and attractions for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Festival-goers can refuel at a variety of stalls serving:

• Classic Ice Cream

• And many more delicious treats

The scent of street food, the laughter from the rides, and the thump of basslines will blend into one unforgettable summer atmosphere.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

As the sun begins to set and the evening energy builds, there will be an important moment during the event — the raffle in aid of the Royal British Veterans Enterprise.

The Royal British Veterans Enterprise is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing support and services to veterans and their families.
